It carries out the design and manufacture of growing fixtures for Modern Greenhouses, Tissue Culture Facilities, Scientific Growing Environments, Indoor Growing Environments. Thanks to the advanced radiometric and photometric testing facilities, qualified and quantitative products for the needs, especially in indoor growing environments, are developed and produced within the company. The design, production and testing processes of the products are carried out in the 37 year old company’s modern production facilities of 16,500 m2 located in Ankara.

Controlled parameters and control methods in plant factories
While world population is increasing, per capita vegetable consumption also shows an increasing trend. On the other hand, plant production areas and yield do not increase to the same extent. Plant factories, which are a good solution to increase the efficiency of the production area, can be installed in agricultural areas and greenhouses, as well as in areas such as parking lots, attics, idle lands, and shipping containers. Parameters such as light, temperature, relative humidity, air movement and carbon dioxide concentration must be precisely monitored and controlled at these areas. With the increasing popularity of plant factories recently, studies on this subject are increasing. Today, it attracts the attention of researchers, investors, and consumers both in the world and in Turkey, and it is expected to become increasingly widespread. In this study, information about the main parameters controlled in plant factories and the control methods of these parameters are given.
Light is one of the most important factors regulating plant growth and development. Many biological and physiological events of plants, especially photosynthesis, are regulated by light. Artificial lighting elements are used to provide full lighting or supplemental lighting to sunlight in areas where production is intense such as plant factories. In order to express the light needs of plants, it is necessary to know terms such as Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD), Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR), Daily Light Integral (DLI) and make calculations accordingly.Knowing the intensity, quality, period, uniformity, direction, polarization and compatibility of the light for plant cultivation will enable the creation of the required lighting. Today, only the intensity, quality and period of the light are taken into account among these parameters in lighting fixtures that provide plant growth.
